1989 - A Jeweler's Approach to the Fabrication of 990 Gold
$0.00
The purpose of this project was the exploration of fabrication in 990 gold by an experienced jeweler, using materials and equipment commonly found in a jeweler's workshop. A lady's ring was designed and fabricated for a specific client. After the ring was completed, some of the questions that had developed during the procedure were addressed. With the exception of one assay report, all research was done in the jeweler's shop. The project also sought to make a contribution to the understanding of the uses of 990 gold by articulating the experience of a jeweler's initial use of the alloy.
