Doing true restoration on period and antique jewelry gives us a unique insight into the techniques and materials used to make jewelry in times past. This follow-up to last year's presentation takes some complicated and unusual restoration projects from start to finish. While the work is done with an emphasis on utilizing old-world bench techniques, the latest technical advancements and tools are employed to attain the finest restoration possible. Insight into combining new and old techniques can inspire new and innovative ideas for future production of jewelry.
