Jewelry making is among the oldest industries in the world. Since ancient times, man has enjoyed adornments. As far back as history can be documented, jewelry has been made. While at times primitive, bench jewelers created better ways to fabricate and found improved ways to simplify manufacturing. From casting to fabrication, from simple carving to extensive fold forming, techniques evolved and were improved constantly. This paper is designed to provide ideas, tips and tricks to make working at the bench less challenging for the bench jeweler.
