This paper explores the features and benefits of traditional and new platinum alloys in the market today. Using data from FEM (Research Institute for Precious Metals & Metal Chemistry, Schwäbisch Gmünd, Germany) and metal providers, a series of platinum alloys is explored, and their use in industry is highlighted. By learning to use the proper alloy for an application, you can avoid costly errors.
